My name is Kay Thompson and I am so enthusiastic and excited about a vision to promote an inspiration-based initiative with Chick-fil-A called the Firm, Fair, Faith Initiative. The following is a brief synopsis of the proposal. Thank you for your consideration.
Firm, Fair, Faith
Recently, I shared with Mr. Dan Cathy at the Studio Construction Meeting about a proposal for a commercial ad campaign that focuses on the models of stability, faith, and consistency that I believe Chick-fil-A has helped to instill in me. I have been a faithful member of the same church for over 28 years, and each Sunday morning I have passed by a "closed" Chick-fil-A. No matter what has happened in the economy over the years, Chick-fil-A stood—and continues to stand—by its founding principles. And I have stood by mine!
I've found that reliable examples in our society are of the utmost importance; they clear paths and set standards for following generations. Yet they can also be hard to come by—in the personal, corporate, and faith arenas. As an experienced interviewer of Grammy award-winning artists, and as one of the current hosts of Atlanta Live on WATC TV-57, I can help make a difference by garnering firsthand accounts, sharing life stories of others, servicing the underserved, and enriching communities. I am confident that my background and dedication to presenting quality content will be key elements that can make this initiative successful.
HISTORIC COMPANY STANDARDS
We can connect
This generation and the generations to come would greatly benefit from an initiative that emphasizes not only a longstanding, trusted, quality product but the means and driving force behind that product. I stated to Mr. Cathy that "I can do this!" As a media host, minister, entrepreneur, and mentor, I can be a spokesperson for a company I truly believe in. By conveying the accounts, stories, and triumphs of individuals who have embraced the Truett legacy, we can change lives for the glory of God! Together, "We can do this"!
